Study App terms of use
These terms cover the Study App Android app, published by Arkyn Labs, a sole proprietorship based in Chennai, India. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Not a government app
Study App is an independent practice app made by Arkyn Labs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) or any other government body, and it does not represent any government or political entity. The practice tests are not official question papers.
Official notifications, syllabi, answer keys and results come only from the commission. Always check them on the commission's official website.
Adults only
Study App is for adults. You may use it only if you are 18 or older, and the app asks you to confirm this before you start. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
Free to use
Study App is free. It has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads, and it never asks for payment details. If that ever changes, we will update these terms before the new version of the app reaches you, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.
Your account
The app creates an anonymous account for you. It is not linked to your name, email address or phone number. Your progress lives in that account, so if you delete it or lose access to it, the progress cannot be recovered.
Practice content and accuracy
The questions, answer options and explanations are written for practice. Each one is checked against a published source and reviewed by a person before it appears in a test. Even so, a question can contain a mistake, and facts such as office holders, schemes and figures can go out of date.
Use Study App to practise, not as an authority. Check anything that matters against official and primary sources. A score in the app does not predict or guarantee any result in a real exam. If you find a mistake, use the flag in the app or email developer@arkynlabs.com, and we will review it.
Content licence and credits
The questions, options, explanations and their Tamil versions in Study App are original work by Arkyn Labs, and Arkyn Labs owns them. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial study inside the app. You may not copy, republish, sell or share them in bulk, or extract them from the app by scraping or automated means.
Each question names the source it was checked against and links to it, so you can verify the fact yourself. The text of those sources is not reproduced in the app and remains with its owners, such as the Government of Tamil Nadu (SCERT textbooks) and the Government of India. The names of the commission and its exams are used only to say which exam the practice is for.
Fair use of the app
Do not misuse the app or its service: do not try to break into it, overload it, interfere with other users, or read data that is not yours. We may suspend or delete an account that does this.
Changes and availability
We may change Study App, add or withdraw tests or questions, or stop offering the app. We aim to keep it running, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits of our responsibility
Study App is a free practice tool. As far as Indian law allows, Arkyn Labs is not responsible for exam results, for decisions you make based on the practice content, or for indirect losses from using or not being able to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Deleting your account
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time: in the app, open Settings, then Delete account. Your account and all the practice data linked to it are erased straight away. See how to delete your account.
Your data
What the app collects, why, where it is stored and your rights over it are set out in the Study App privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we update this page and its date before the new version takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with them, you can delete your account.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them or about the app is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
