Delete your Shantti account

This page explains how to delete your Shantti account and what deletion actually does.

What deletion does

Deleting your account destroys the account itself, along with your chosen deities, your selected city, your device id, and your display preferences. It is not a reset of preferences: the account record is gone.

Every Shantti account today is anonymous. Deleting it also clears your choice to sync, so the app keeps working offline and asks again before it syncs anything or creates a new account. If Shantti later offers an optional way to sign in, such as a Google account, deleting and then signing in again with the same account would still make you a brand new user, with no history.

Fastest way: in the app

Open Shantti, go to Settings, then Delete account. This deletes your account immediately and does not require contacting anyone.

Lost the app or the device

If you can no longer open the app to delete your account yourself, email contact@arkynlabs.com and ask us to delete your account. Include the device id shown on the app's Settings screen if you still have it recorded anywhere; it is the only way we can find your account, since Shantti does not collect your name, email, or phone number.

We aim to complete email deletion requests within 7 days.
