What it does
A daily panchangam, computed from astronomy for 64 cities. Reminders for observance days (Pradosham, Ekadashi, Amavasai, Pournami and more), plus an optional evening lamp and daily quote, each switched on or off by itself and all off by default. 40 Bhagavad Gita verses. And a companion that answers in the voice of one of six deities (Murugan, Shiva, Amman/Parvathi, Vishnu, Krishna, Hanuman), using only lines that were written and reviewed in advance.
How it's built
There is no AI model behind the companion. Everything works offline: panchangam, reminders, Gita verses, quotes and the companion. A connection is used only to sync your settings, if you choose to, and to delete your account. It carries no ads or analytics SDKs. Vite, React and TypeScript inside Capacitor 8 for Android, with Supabase for the optional settings sync. The release APK is 1.49 MB, and 364 automated tests pass at the release cut. Reminders survive a phone reboot, checked on a real device.
Before upload
The whole app went through an adversarial audit, and every blocker and high-severity finding was fixed before the build moved on. Shantti launches in English. Tamil switches on as soon as its reviewed text is complete. The privacy policy and the account-deletion page Google Play asks for are public on this site.
